Hi, I'm Yolanda!
Also known as Auntie Ya Ya, I am the baker and decorator here at Auntie Ya Ya’s sweet treats gluten free.
I have been baking Gluten Free treats since 2012 when I found out about my allergy. I’ve been diligently working on perfecting my taste and texture so that you really can’t taste the difference.
I was always being left out at gatherings, parties and events, having to watch everyone else eat delicious looking treats while I was offered a subpar replacement. It honestly made me so sad. This is what really drove me to keep working and perfecting the art of gluten free baking.
My family and I moved to Kelowna in 2022 and that’s when I decided to leave my 10 year career of being a Real Estate agent and opening my own home based business. I put every ounce of my love into my sweet treats and you can even taste it! So here is to never being left out again! With Love, Auntie Ya Ya

"Being Celiac, it is extremely difficult to find baked goods that both taste good and look good. Auntie Ya Ya's, however, has filled that massive gap in the market. Not only do her treats look beautiful, but they taste incredible. Her treats are moist, not overly sweet, and the texture is perfection: not crumbly or dry. I've tried literally everything she has offered so far, and I cannot pick a favourite. In fact, my boyfriend and I now have to get separate treats for the car, because we can never wait to go home and dive in. My dad, who hates all things GF, didn't even realize my birthday cake was just that: he practically licked the plate clean. Yolanda's treats are a Saturday morning staple at the farmer's market: first booth we hit up, and one we miss immensely if we can't make it out." ~Anett

Her celiac-safe gluten free treats are as tasty as they are beautiful to look at and have such an excellent texture that you’ll forget they’re gluten free. She also does custom cakes and sugar cookie designs - always made to her very high standards and ready as promised.
